Ummmm, hello?

Seriously, the picture in the header has snow in it!! It's summer already! Well, not officially, but the kids are out of school and so in my book (and schedule), it's summer. Guess I had better change that picture...ya, I'll get right on that...

So, I decided to jot down (er...type down???) some thoughts. Don't worry, you won't get anything too intellectual from me. Oh wait, what's that? Oh ya, you weren't worried about that were you? Mindy + intellectual conversation...ummm...nope. :)

Ok, so this is what I was thinking about. Sex and the City 2, the movie. I was a huge fan of the series. I think I have seen most of the episodes multiple times and I have my favorites. "In the land of twentysomethings" anyone??? And who can forget all of Carrie's trials and tribulations with all of her boy toys. And all of the fun (and fights) that Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha all had. And then there is Big. And the finale of the show. And...and...and...there was so much to like. And yes, people...i KNOW it wasn't real. ;)

Then came the 1st movie. I was dying to see it. But as a full time mommy to too many kids to count now (not really but you get feel my pain right), i didn't get to see it until it came out on DVD. I loved it! I even liked Jennifer Hudson's character.

But throughout most of the episodes and the 1st movie there was New York City as the "other" character. NYC in all of her glory. It's the "in the city" part of the whole stinkin title. So why do they want to have a sequel in Morocco??? And all of the insane clothes, er...styles. And the reviews have been pretty harsh. I had high hopes. I will see it on DVD I am sure anyway.

Ok, so then all of this got me to thinking about titles of episodes of shows. Do you ever look at the title to the show? Friends of course always had their show titled "the one with...". I used to love ER's titles. And of course, Sex and the City's titles were great. Always witty and sometimes with innuendo. Funny stuff. Heck, I was flipping channels the other day and a soap opera had an episode title. I really promise I was just flipping the channel. But did you know A has a tumor but can't tell B because he is the father of her child C who is in love with D who doesn't know that he is her brother who is her twin. Ya, i really did change the channel....

OK, so my point is (if I have one), if we could name our days like we would name episodes of television shows, what would we name them? Well, obviously, today, for me, would be "the one about blabbing about titles for my days." Or something like that.
